If you ask me why words deserve a space on my blog, I will answer them. We have all been victims and victimizers of words, perhaps we have not stopped to think about those we have executed with them, but I assure you that there are hearts with scars because of our mouths.
...Ah!!! But we do have very clear in our memory who has hurt us with them.
And then, and when those sinic, hard, icy words are against ourselves, what?

I have been thinking that words are so powerful that even when they are not spoken, their power is just as great. I remember how I waited for years to hear words of love in my childhood from both of my parents, surely they are thinking! Of course they told you how much they loved you, you were a very thoughtful girl! But it is very different to say the words from your mouth and from your heart and a boy or girl is especially capable of feeling the difference. I'm not complaining! let it be clear!! that of the victim... no more. In fact, all my experiences made me the woman I am today and the truth is, I really liked it.
I firmly believe that all words create your life, so choosing words carefully is vitally important, especially those that you repeat and repeat to yourself. It is very different to say to yourself - It is very likely that I will not pass this history exam, the truth is that I am quite bad at history.
What to say
-This exam will probably be quite difficult for me today, but I will do my best. I will explain the differences in a deeper way.
Our brain does not recognize between good or bad, what our brain always does is find a way to reinforce or prove what we tell ourselves. For example, in the first statement, our brain will look for it to reinforce that we will most likely not pass our exam and will search our memory for the reasons why we say we are brutal to reinforce that belief. This unconscious behavior will give us the CERTAINTY that we will not pass the exam and that we are indeed stupid.
On the contrary, if we tell ourselves that the exam will be complicated, we give ourselves the space to perhaps know how to solve it. The word complicated is not definitive. Furthermore, if we give our mind the words BEST OF ME, the brain will search our mental files for why we can give our best, for example it will bring up (unconsciously) moments where we win a race at school, or when we memorize some musical theme or when we made our first delicious cake. Most likely with the second statement, we will win the history test.
If our mind works this way, this means that through our internal dialogue, we are creating our realities. I already know that not everything is as easy as it sounds and that life is not going to follow our mind full of flowers and hearts. But regardless of the circumstances in which we find ourselves, our mind CAN keep us in a mental state of calm or even happiness, if we nourish it with the correct dialogue or we will open doors to find solutions that were not there before. Now, be careful! If we know that we have a behavior that does not benefit us, being a procrastinator for example, or not having the skills to maintain a routine, our mind will also follow the information we give it... useful or not useful. He will look for a way to “justify” why we are procrastinators or he will look for an explanation for why we do not maintain a routine and in the end everything will remain the same. Without any progress in our favor. Isn't this changing our reality???
